Our current focus is fund-raising for Lee Audis, the Doncaster Knights scrum half who was seriously injured in a car accident in November. Lee who has been treated in Leeds General Infirmary since the accident and has recently been transferred to a specialist rehab unit near his parents in Bristol is making good progress and having worked with him at the Knights we are keen to support him on his road to recovery.
The Doncaster Knights Awards Dinner on Saturday 18th February will be held in aid of Lee. For tickets or further info please contact Vicky on 07528 858341.
Movember 2011 organised by Chapman Physiotherapy and held at Doncaster Racecourse raised £3500 for the Prostate Cancer Charity. It was a fantastic night raising awareness of prostate cancer whilst having a good giggle at some of the facial hair on display. (insert november picture - separate email)
Chapman Physiotherapy is proud to work within the Doncaster community to raise money for charity through sporting events. Recently we supported the Doncaster Knights Player Awards Dinner, organised by Vicky Chapman which raised £3500 for Help for Heroes and on Thursday 5th May provided the physiotherapy services for a charity football tournament. The game held at Keepmoat Stadium raised over £11000 for the NSPCC and was organised by a group of Doncaster teachers. Despite losing on the night to a celebrity all stars team comprising actors and ex-footballers the teachers thoroughly enjoyed it and are now planning future events.

Strapping the players for the football.
