Physiotherapy

All physiotherapy appointments are a standard 30 minutes unless arranged otherwise. At the initial visit a comprehensive history of your condition will be taken. This will involve asking questions to determine the nature of the condition and give an indication as to what is wrong. The physiotherapist will then perform some clinical tests to further evaluate the condition which may include strength, sensation, palpation and joint range of movement. From this a working diagnosis can be made and the options for treatment will be discussed with you. Treatment will then be performed with your consent and often exercises will be suggested to do at home.

Please wear appropriate clothing; shorts if you are attending with a lower limb or back problem, and ladies may wish to wear a vest top for shoulder or neck problems.
Depending on the severity of the condition you may need to visit once or twice a week initially.  A double appointment may be booked at additional cost.  Most clients need an average of 4-6 sessions but there are many that only need one and are able to self manage with advice from our highly trained physiotherapists.

We are covered by all major insurance companies, please ensure you have authorisation for treatment at your initial attendance.  Receipts are available for cashback schemes.
